The summer challenge in 2022 was a Blue and Yellow Quilt, using at least one square of a fabric given to everyone. In the fall of 2023, two of the Blue and Yellow Summer Challenge quilts, and 3 others, were donated for Ukrainian refugee children living in Florida.
This year (2021) our guild has been making quilts to give to refugees who have settled in our community. We asked for members of the guild a single quilt block which incorporated some green fabric. One member sewed the tops and other members did the quilting—these quilts are reversible! (See the first 4 photos below).
This is an on-going project. Individual members have also donated quilts for the guild to donate.
