Guild member Mary Masiello's quilt "A Breath of Spring" was chosen to be part of the New England Quilt Museum's show "Best of New England Guilds". The exhibit ran from January 21 - April 2, 2006. To see the full-sized photo and read more about the quilt, please visit the PBQ Flickr Gallery.
This commemorative quilt entitled "375th Birthday - Boston, Massachusetts" was designed by teacher, artist and PBQ member, Nancy Donovan and celebrates 12 typically Boston scenes/events. It was displayed at Boston City Hall from May 23 - September 1, 2005 as part of the "375 Views of Boston" exhibit and was later on display for most of 2006 in Terminal C at Logan Airport. Note cards of this quilt and individual blocks are available; contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information.

In 1986 the PBQ guild had the honor of participating, along with other New England quilt guilds, in making quilts for the Public Theater's production of the musical "Quilters". Founding member Susan O'Leary undertook the task of getting this large "Legacy Quilt" made (with a little help from fellow PBQers). It was presented to the play's producer, Spiro Veludos, and artistic director, Bob O'Dorisio, at our guild meeting on May 20th.
To view the full-sized photo of the quilt and the guild, and the program from the production, visit the PBQ Flickr Gallery.
