Show and Tell - May 2025
Just days after our wonderful quilt show, there were only a few new quilts for Show and Tell. But it was still great. Charlotte told a funny story about a quilted jacket she’d made years ago, which she had with her at the quilt show. She was stunned to see a lady she didn’t know walking out wearing “her” Jacket. Turns out that the woman had purchased the jacket at the estate sale of the late Mary Massiello’s things. Mary, a long time member of PBQ, had made a jacket with scraps Charlotte had given her…almost identical to Charlotte’s but Mary had added a ruffle to her version. So Charlotte was seeing Mary’s jacket walking by, while hers was still safe and sound on the back of her chair! Hearing the story, the lady ended up giving Mary Massiello’s jacket to Charlotte. She thought someone who knew her should have it!
